Annual Rhubarb Giveaway, 11-12 May 2024

This year's annual rhubarb giveaway took place over the weekend of 11-12 May. Free bags of rhubarb were left in the produce basket at our main gate and each bag also contained a recipe for a delicious rhubarb crumble (see it here).

Over the weekend we gave away an incredible 100kgs of rhubarb!

We also gave quite a bit of rhubarb to Jane, a member of local Facebook group Grow Dundee. She had been asked by her daughter's primary school for a contribution to their Bake Day to fund school activities. She made an incredible 50 individual crumbles!

We estimate that since we started the giveaway in 2020, we have given away more than 400kgs of free rhubarb to the local community!
